Washington D.C.

Hi, I'm just checking in from Maryland. We are having a great experience here. Experience is the key word. The big, double stroller is attached to my hands, and the boys and I cruise around town all day. As we exit our room, Anson always says, "This is the tricky part, but we can do it." Hiram and Anson have been quite outgoing in meeting new people. Anson has been known to introduce himself and Hiram by stating their names and spelling them. Hiram smiles at every stranger. We've seen some exciting things here. Anson especially loves to see the emergency vehicles. We walk past the police station several times a day. Yesterday we saw something interesting when we were down in the Smithsonian area. There was a person with a Panda bear head costume and a grocery cart. The police had him (or her) surrounded. We never saw the outcome, but it was almost the most exciting thing we saw. We got to the area just in time for all of the museums to close. I did enjoy watching Anson and Glen play on the grass. I have some great pictures coming in a few weeks. Glen has had long, sometimes really long days. He is doing very well here. We are grateful to be with him.

Oh, we just love D.C.! But it sounds like you're staying in a hotel and that cannot be ideal with two babies. Hang in there! You'll never forget it. What fun. Also, are you still hoping to come to San Diego? We would love to see you.
