Christmas 2008 Memories

Family Vacations always create some stress, and great memories. Here are some things to remember from our Christmas 2008:
-Time with Fords and Stradlings in Florida (Anson calling his cousin Bella "Bell Bell" and holding her hand.
-Hiram excitedly shouting "I did it!" after effectively following a request to turn off the tub water.
-ALL(32) of the Higginson family members being together in mom and dad Higginson's state room on Christmas eve. We recalled being on our Christmas 2004 cruise when we totalled only 16 members. Our family has doubled in only four years.
-Dad reading the Christmas story while the little one's acted it out.
-Traditional Christmas pajamas
-Christmas day in Nassau. We visited the Atlantis resort, and saw a hotel room that costs $25,000 per night with a four night minimum stay. We also saw a million dollar chair there. I told Glen I would rather change a poopy diaper than sit in a million dollar chair. We saw some amazing aquariums, but the kids were all quite finished being in captivity during the tour.
-Breakfast with grandma and grandpa
-Spending time on our balcony
-Christmas stockings with an orange, some chocolate, and other little "goodings" as Anson would say
-Castaway Cay snorkeling, watching kids eat sand and play
-Eight AA batteries that we paid $30 for on the island
-Using walkie talkies to communicate (with reindeer code names)
-Church in Florida with grandma and grandpa

What a great Holiday! Krista you have such a wonderful family. I can't believe that your family double in just four years. Crazy. When do you move to San Diego? I went out to lunch with Krista Jorgs, and Kristy Singley and we talked about doing a girls get away with you in August (or really whenever you could to it) in St. George. Wouldn't that be so fun! love you girl. What a great mom you are!

Hooray for big families! Sounds like lots of fun! Dirk would like to take a cruise someday, but all I can think of is being stuck in one room with three kids all night. Seems too hard! Merry Christmas.
