I have sprouted buckwheat in the past, and it is good. However, I don't always get around to sprouting. I always figured the seed was too hard to eat without previous soaking. I was wrong. It is great to put in cereal, or yogurt. I will probably try it in salads as well. I'm always happy to learn how to use nutritious food without too much work.

Wow, Krista, we have the same wave-lengths here, but you're a little ahead of me. On my list of things to buy yesterday I wrote, "buckwheat flour" and "soba" (japanese buckwheat noodles. I like soba and have yet to try other buckwheat. Where do you buy your buckwheat to sprout? very cool!
You can buy it at health food stores. I got mine at Whole Foods. I've never tried soba. Is that good? I would love a recipe. :)
