Fourth of July

Excitement was high for the fourth of July. We had many parades around the house, marching to "America music," and waving flags. The kids got to pick out an outfit at the thrift store. I love that Hiram chose surf boards, but made sure he carried around the American flag. We had a great time with some friends for breakfast, and a barbeque lunch. Our friends have a tradition of a stilt walking contest which Glen and Anson participated in. We have a tradition of singing all of the patriotic songs in the hymn book. Anson carried us through the Star Spangled Banner while Glen and I got emotional.
