Thanks Alecia!

It's fun to hear from you. It is an open question. I would love to hear about ANY of your favorite books: recently read, from your childhood, fiction, non-fiction, long, short, in a boat with goat (oh wait, that's green eggs with ham), Any of your favorite reads. Hope you are well!

It would probably be shorter to give you a list of the books I DON'T like...:) One of my all time favorites is "Beauty" by Robin McKinley. I love the Rick Riordan books, Artemis Fowl books, the Magic Tree House books for Hyrum, all of Shannon Hale's books except "The Actor and the Housewife" (I hated that one), Gail Carson Levine's books, most of C.S. Lewis (I read as many of his books as I could find one year- My favorite is called "The Great Divorce". It's not what it sounds...:) Mrs. Piggle Wiggle, Amelia Bedilia, Glimpses and Small and Simple things by Sis. Hinckley (LOVE those two books!)...I didn't realize how long this was getting. Afton stopped letting me read while she nursed- the books are more fun than eating- so I haven't hardly read anything lately. Sometimes I have withdrawals...Happy reading!

I really liked the book The Alchemist, it is short and a thoughtful book. the Harry Potter series was fun, Wuthering Heights, classic from Jack London are great, and I like Bill Bryson's books about travel (especially his book about the Appalachian Trail. Happy reading!
