Birthday, Father's Day, Eric Visit

Anson expressed excitement that we would be able to celebrate three things on his birthday this year: Father's Day, his birthday, and Sunday. We were glad that we actually got to celebrate four things, uncle Eric came to visit.



We were so happy to have uncle Eric call this past weekend to let us know he was in town. He joined us for a family jog/bike ride, Anson's birthday party and Father's Day. Anson had a fun birthday party. We had Saloni and Maya over for cake and a few games (Mystery Garden, and Trivia). It was low key, and just right for Anson. He requested a vanilla/banana cake with chocolate frosting. Hiram and I made the cake. Anson got a chess game, books, a cookie cutter set with a recipe book, a Family Home Evening DVD, and shape puzzle pages. He gave Hiram a book and lace up shapes, and Charlotte a play phone. Anson said, "This was the greatest birthday I've ever had."
