Spring is here after a long winter here in Maryland. I love it! We have the most beautiful tree out front with long hanging branches and blossoms that have popped out in the last couple of days. It has been a joy to send the children outside to play. Before I post spring pictures, I need to update from winter.
This was our biggest snow storm of the winter, piling on around 16 inches of snow. Dad helped to make a fort that eventually became an igloo.
Isn't this the cutest little guy! Ezra turned one on December 16th. He remains a pleasant, happy, and darling person. He started walking around 14 months, and has quite a large vocabulary. One phrase he has picked up from siblings is "stop it!" I kind of cringe at that one, but it's impressive at the same time. He gives great hugs, and is such a loveable guy. He recently hurt his leg, and is still recovering from that. He loves to read books, go on walks outside, clap and dance, jump on Hiram's bed, splash in the toilet, and much more. Some of his favorite foods are apples and mangos.
Grandma Higginson made a special trip for my birthday in January. We ate at one of our favorite Japanese restaurants called Sakura.
Here is Charlotte on St. Patrick's Day. She wanted to wear her green pajamas all day to make sure she didn't get pinched. We also had a snow storm that day.
